About Us

Born in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, Greg has lived in British Columbia, Ontario, and various countries in the South Pacific. His academic background includes studying Journalism at Carlton University, Economics and Finance at McMaster University, and Business Administration at Mohawk College.

Greg’s career is marked by significant milestones, including serving as the official photographer for the 2010 Olympic Bid Committee and capturing photos of notable personalities like Princess Diana, Jean Chrétien, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neil Young, Tragically Hip, Kevin Costner, Pink Floyd, and AC/DC. Extensive international travel has been the norm throughout Greg’s career. He spent a full year in the South Pacific, working in the tourism marketing arena, including for the federal governments of Fiji, Cook Islands, and Tahiti.

Under Greg’s leadership, the Insight Visual Solutions team has produced projects for high-profile clients and won numerous awards. Our proprietary 360° VR technology is now being utilized in various sectors, including residential and commercial Real Estate, Tourism, and more.

Greg is a Transport Canada-certified Advanced RPAS (drone) Operator, WCB certified, and a PADI Underwater Photography Instructor (Level II), among other qualifications.

The Insight Visual Solutions team has successfully completed projects in Canada, Hawaii, Scotland, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Tahiti, Croatia, Greece, and Mexico. Utilizing our proprietary 360° VR technology, we are now at the forefront of marketing residential and commercial real estate, heli-skiing operations, aquaculture farms, yacht sales, resort communities, and golf course real estate.

Greg has been creating imagery with the use of drones since 2012, back in the days of custom-built machines. He has consistently been upgrading his aircraft with the latest technology and is continually expanding his knowledge through new certifications and recency tests. Greg currently holds an advanced level certification from Transport Canada and the European Union. He is currently studying to obtain his PART107 certification for flying in the United States. Our industry-pioneering 360 VR micro-mapping projects were spawned by the extensive use of drone technology within context of our day to day operations.
